Silo is a non-profit, peer reviewed, annual electronic publication managed by the Department of English, Languages, and Philosophy at the College of Southern Idaho. The journal has been published in print form in the past, and we hope now to continue the tradition by providing an online collecting place for exceptional creative writing and visual art.

From the birthplace of Ezra Pound to the resting place of Ernest Hemingway, Southern Idaho has a rich literary tradition that we hope to carry on today. In this effort, Silo welcomes poetry, short fiction, personal essays, and creative non-fiction from regional writers. In addition, Silo also welcomes creative visual art from regional artists.
